THE EVENT
CARPE DIEM is an art exhibition and fundraiser bringing together artists, photographers, poets, musicians, and creatives for an evening of art, community, networking, and celebration.
The exhibition will feature three artists, including Nandi George, who will present her visual and physical installation Channel Surfing / In My Room.
The installation recreates a living room environment filled with CRT televisions, exploring the images, music, characters, films, and cultural moments that have shaped Nandi's creative world.
Terrible Tony, an artist from Indiana, will also be featured. Tony will create a live painting during the event, which will be auctioned later that evening.
The evening will also feature performances with participating artists being confirmed by October 11.
The exhibit will remain on display through Saturday evening following the event. Take down will be immediately after exhibit is over.
The evening will include music, a special performance, food, a sponsored bar, an auction, and an after-party.
CARPE DIEM is a space for art, community, networking, and celebration.
The team is currently finalzing remining contributors and sponsors. We will share updates as we have them.
